Reflections of Loss and Silence’s Reverberations
Thursday 9th March – 18.30
Clara Garavelli in conversation with Nicky Hirst, Andrew Cross, Peter Fraser, Tim Ellis, Judy Milner, Jeff Knopf, Steve Chapman and Patricia Bossio
This roundtable aims to provide a platform for thoughts about silence and the differentiated affective soundscape generated by loss. Moderated by Dr Garavelli, a number of artists whose work is being exhibited as part of MUTE will reflect on their own practices as vehicles of self-reflection and interconnection, whilst expanding on ideas of the material perception of silence as a form of intersubjective listening.
